Job Description

We are looking for a Sustainability Specialist to join our team at Morepeople 01780 in Huntingdon. The successful candidate will provide expert advice to farmers and landowners on how to improve and protect habitats and ensure sustainable agriculture practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing expert conservation advice to farmers and landowners
  • Assisting with the implementation of Agri-environment schemes
  • Maintaining strong relationships with clients nationwide

Salary & Benefits

The salary for this role is £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including a full clean UK driving licence is essential.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in an environmental or agricultural field
  • Extensive experience of in-person, on-farm conservation advice
  • Familiarity with computer-based mapping

About You

You will have a strong knowledge of priority species and habitats on lowland farms, as well as experience with in-field identification of common farmland birds, butterflies, and plants.
