Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled HGV Mechanic to join our client's team in Northern Ireland. As a key member of the workshop team, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of a range of buses and coaches.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out mechanical servicing and repairs on vehicles, buses, and coaches
  • Conduct vehicle inspections and complete relevant paperwork
  • Diagnose faults and take corrective action
  • Remove and replace vehicle parts
  • Work effectively with colleagues and supervisors
  • Adhere to company policy and health and safety guidelines
Requirements
  • Qualified Level 3 Vehicle Mechanic (Light or HGV)
  • Experience on commercial vehicles, HGVs, and buses is desirable
  • Able to fault find and diagnose
  • Working knowledge of vehicle electrical systems
  • High standard of work, quality, and safety practice
About the Role

This is a temporary role running to September 2025, with potential for extension or permanent opportunities. You will be based at the workshop in Newry and will work Monday to Friday hours. The salary for this role is £31,741.
