Teaching Opportunity in Dance Technique

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to support the teaching of contemporary dance technique at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance.

As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to gain experience in teaching dance classes and develop your knowledge of the demands of working within a higher education context.

You will be responsible for supporting the training provision on our dance programmes, assuming responsibility for teaching classes in the event of staff absence. You will also receive mentoring and feedback on your teaching, as well as access to internal staff development opportunities.

In addition to teaching, you will contribute to other programme-related activities through practical, technical, and administrative support for assessments, performances, student induction, programme marketing, and recruitment.

This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and experience in a dynamic and forward-thinking institution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the teaching of contemporary dance technique
  • Assume responsibility for teaching classes in the event of staff absence
  • Contribute to programme-related activities
  • Provide administrative support for assessments, performances, and student induction

Requirements:

  • Experience in teaching dance or a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
