About the Role

Mazars is a leading international professional services firm that offers a unique opportunity for a qualified actuary to take on a leadership role in our growing Actuarial team. As an Actuarial Manager, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional quality services to our clients in the General Insurance sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of actuaries in delivering a variety of traditional and bespoke actuarial services to clients, including reserving, capital management, and Solvency II.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, identifying new business opportunities and delivering high-quality solutions.
  • Assist the leadership team in developing new client relationships and propositions, and contribute to the growth of our Actuarial business.
  • Manage and develop a team of trainee actuaries, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their full potential.
  • Communicate complex actuarial results to technical and non-technical audiences, ensuring that clients understand the implications of our findings.
Requirements
  • Qualified Actuary with a strong background in General Insurance.
  • Experience in reserving, standard formula and internal model capital, pricing, and IFRS 17.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Proven experience in managing teams and projects, with a track record of delivering high-quality results.
