We are seeking an experienced Mental Health Professional to join our team at Semester. This role offers a challenging and rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about providing holistic support to individuals with complex mental health difficulties.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive mental health assessments, developing tailored care plans, and delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions. Key responsibilities include assessment and intervention, case management, safeguarding and risk management, and collaboration and partnership.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assessment and Intervention:
    • Conduct mental health assessments to identify individual needs and formulate care plans.
    • Deliver therapeutic interventions to support clients' mental health and recovery.
    • Provide crisis intervention in community settings.
  • Case Management:
    • Manage a diverse caseload, including individuals with severe and enduring mental health conditions.
    • Monitor and review clients' progress, updating care plans and involving them in decision-making.
    • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide integrated care.
  • Safeguarding and Risk Management:
    • Identify and respond to safeguarding concerns to protect clients and their families.
    • Conduct risk assessments and develop risk management plans.
    • Promote safeguarding, mental health recovery, and access to services.
  • Collaboration and Partnership:
    • Work with statutory and voluntary organisations to ensure clients receive holistic care.
    • Attend multi-agency meetings to coordinate services and review care plans.
  • Documentation and Compliance:
    • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, interventions, and outcomes.
    • Ensure compliance with safeguarding, equality, and confidentiality requirements.
    Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a BA/MA in Social Work (or equivalent), registration with Social Work England, and 3-5 years of post-qualification experience in mental health. A sound knowledge of mental health diagnoses, treatment pathways, and relevant legislation is essential. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a person-centred approach are also required.

Salary:

$60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
