Job Title: MI Solutions Developer

Job Description:

Pearson Carter is working with a UK-based insurance and financial services company to find a skilled MI Solutions Developer to join their team in Birmingham, West Midlands.

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, with an initial period of 4-6 weeks on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Write complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various databases, ensuring data integrity and optimisation of performance.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and translate business requirements into actionable data insights.
  • Leverage advanced analytics, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and machine learning techniques (where applicable) to push the boundaries of data-driven decision-making.
  • Automate data workflows and reporting processes to streamline business operations and reduce manual effort.
  • Maintain and manage existing MS Dynamics 365 platform.

Requirements:

  • At least an A Level or HND in Computer Studies or equivalent technical qualification.
  • At least 2 years experience of Power BI and SQL.
  • Good knowledge, experience, and understanding of Power BI, SQL, and Excel.
  • Knowledge of insurance terminology and working practices.
  • Knowledge of Power Automate (Flow), Jira Service Desk, Zoho Creator, and Dynamics 365 would be beneficial.
