Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cover Supervisor to join our team at beBee Professionals in Aylesbury, United Kingdom. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing classrooms during teacher absences and ensuring that students remain engaged in their work.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage classrooms in the absence of the regular teacher, maintaining a safe and productive learning environment.
- Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure students remain on task, providing feedback to the teaching staff on their progress.
- Support students with their learning when necessary, adapting to different classroom environments and demonstrating patience and a positive attitude.
- Assist with administrative duties as required, maintaining a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a school environment is preferred but not essential, with strong communication and classroom management skills.
- A valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check or willingness to obtain one, with a commitment to upholding the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.
- Flexibility to work on short notice when required, with a strong ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
