We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Senior Account Strategist to join our Account Management team in London and contribute to Brightcove’s growth. This role requires exceptional communication and negotiation skills, as well as a proven track record of delivering on revenue goals.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a strong understanding of customer needs and a ability to present to technical and non-technical audiences. Key responsibilities include building relationships with customers, managing existing clients, and negotiating contract renewals and upsell/add-on opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop an in-depth understanding of customer businesses and challenges.
  2. Build relationships with customers to encourage new and repeat business.
  3. Work with project champions at clients and within the organization to meet customer needs.
  4. Manage existing clients, including analyzing monthly usage.
  5. Negotiate contract renewals and upsell/add-on opportunities.

Qualifications:

  1. 3+ years of Account Manager experience in the IT industry (Cloud, SaaS, PaaS preferred).
  2. Demonstrated ability to multi-task across a wide range of accounts.
  3. Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  4. Ability to listen to customer needs and address them through new products and services.
