Job Title: English and Mathematics Tutor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced English and Mathematics Tutor to join our team at Brent Council.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality tuition to students in English and Mathematics, with a focus on supporting students to achieve their academic goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality tuition to students in English and Mathematics, with a focus on supporting students to achieve their academic goals.
  • Develop and implement effective lesson plans to meet the needs of students.
  • Assess and track student progress, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to support students.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of student progress and achievement.
Requirements
  • At least 5 GCSEs grades A-C (including maths grades A-A*).
  • A level maths grades A-A*.
  • Excellent timekeeping and organisational skills.
  • Proactive rather than reactive.
