Job Title: Removals Operations Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Removals Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operational and warehouse activities. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing removals operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and leading teams to provide outstanding removal services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise maintenance tasks, including inspections and resolving defects.
  • Manage tachograph records and ensure compliance with removal drivers' hours regulations.
  • Enforce measures to prevent overloading and control speeding incidents.
  • Liaise with the Traffic Commissioner for necessary notifications and commitments.
  • Handle administrative duties related to warehouse operations and removals customer communication.
  • Oversee forklift operations, administrative functions, and team supervision.
  • Utilize the Moveware system to facilitate booking and container movements.
  • Manage operational schedules and Moveware functions.
  • Approve timesheets and process expense claims.
  • Handle inquiries from both removal customers and employees.
  • Implement and establish standardized processes and procedures.
  • Assist with the resolution of customer complaints and manage damage reports.

Requirements: The successful Removals Operations Manager will have proven experience working in a managerial role within the removals and relocations industry. You must be a confident communicator and competent at problem solving.
