About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Transport Team Leader to join our Warehouse team at WAE Technologies Limited. As a key member of our logistics team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient supply of products and services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Logistics Management: Ensure that all logistics operations are carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures, and that all requirements for quality, cost, and delivery are met.
  • Supply Chain Coordination: Assist in the effective supply of products and services to our clients, ensuring that all deliveries are made on time and to the required specifications.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all regulatory requirements, including ADR legislation, are met and that all necessary records are kept up to date.
  • Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to the Warehouse team, ensuring that all team members are working efficiently and effectively to meet the needs of the business.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety obligations are met, providing a safe and healthy working environment for all employees.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience in a high-pressure transport-based role, with a strong understanding of logistics and supply chain management.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge: A good working knowledge of MS Package, including Excel, Word, and Outlook, and an understanding of ERP systems.
  • Qualifications: ADR/Class 9 and regulatory compliance within transport, although training will be given.
