Learning Experience Designer

About the RoleWe are seeking a driven and creative Senior Learning Experience Designer to join our team. As a key member of our learning solutions team, you will work closely with clients to develop innovative, pedagogically strong learning solutions that meet their business needs. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping the creative vision for a range of digital learning projects.
Key Responsibilities- Define the creative vision for learning solutions, collaborating with art directors, developers, project managers, and client subject matter experts to bring them to life.
- Research content and work with subject experts and learning designers to transform it into effective and engaging learning.
- Lead and facilitate design workshops, both internally and with clients, to pitch design concepts and gather feedback.
- Link learning needs analysis results to learning objectives when implementing the design.
- Create detailed design documentation, including design solutions, content scoping documents, and storyboards.
- Effectively manage multiple priorities, projects, and relationships.
- Map clients' learning ecosystems, including technical environments, conditions, roles, and performance aspects.
- Monitor project health, ensuring tasks are planned out and work is tracking with the project budget.
- Extensive understanding of adult learning principles and learning technologies.
- Confidence in leading workshops with clients, writing creative treatments, and drawing up novel design approaches and scoping documentation.
- Experience in the entire learning experience design lifecycle, including requirements analysis, high-level training design, interactive screen design, storyboarding, quality assurance, and learning accessibility.
- Proven ability to create innovative design solutions and learning architectures.
- Understanding of user experience design principles.
- Experience leading multi-disciplinary project teams and managing multiple priorities, projects, and relationships.
- Writing creative, concise, and persuasive instructional copy.
- Developing effective assessment strategies that accurately test learners' ability to meet objectives.
