Job Title: Study Skills Coach

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Study Skills Coach to join our team at Randstad. As a Study Skills Coach, you will work closely with students who have specific learning difficulties, providing personalized support and guidance to help them achieve their academic goals.

About the Role:

This is a hybrid role, requiring flexibility to work with students both in-person and online. You will be responsible for creating individualized learning plans, developing strategies to enhance students' independence, organization, and time management skills, and providing ongoing support to help them succeed in their studies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualized learning plans to meet the unique needs of each student
  • Provide one-to-one support to students, focusing on building their confidence, independence, and academic skills
  • Collaborate with students to identify areas of strength and weakness, and develop strategies to address these
  • Offer guidance on organization, time management, and study skills to help students achieve their academic goals
  • Work closely with students to create action plans, set goals, and track progress
  • Provide ongoing support and feedback to students, adapting to their changing needs and circumstances
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to hold membership with one of the following professional bodies: British Dyslexia Association (BDA), Professional Membership The Association of Dyslexia (ADSHE), Dyslexia Guild, or The Professional Association of Teachers of Students with Specific Learning Difficulties (PATOSS). You will also need to possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
