About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Senior Pension Actuarial Analyst to join our team at Gallagher. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious actuary to take on a leadership role and contribute to the delivery of high-quality actuarial services to our clients. As a Senior Pension Actuarial Analyst, you will be responsible for leading a portfolio of clients, providing expert actuarial advice, and ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead a team of actuarial analysts and provide guidance and support to ensure seamless execution of all tasks.
• Develop and implement administrative procedures and forms used by clients to streamline operations.
• Prepare valuations, cost estimates, and accounting disclosures (FRS17, IAS19, and USGAAP) with outstanding accuracy.
• Undertake and check all aspects of actuarial work associated with pension schemes to deliver world-class service.
• Assist in developing and implementing consulting knowledge on actuarial and non-actuarial aspects of pension plans to stay competitive in the field.

About You
To succeed in this role, you should have substantial experience within the pensions actuarial environment, demonstrating proven expertise. You should also be an all-round communicator who can articulate complex information clearly and effectively. Skilled in coordinating, prioritizing, and completing tasks within designated timeframes to achieve outstanding outcomes, you should possess good numeracy and literacy skills to handle detailed actuarial work with precision. Proactive and someone who excels in a collaborative environment as a great teammate, you should have attention to detail to ensure the highest level of accuracy in all tasks. Good numerical/mathematics-based degree that provides a strong foundation for actuarial work and eligible to work in the UK, you should generally have completed CT exams and CA1, showcasing dedication and determination in the field.

Salary and Benefits
The salary for this role is approximately £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on your experience.
