About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Transformative Support Worker for vulnerable children at Academics Ltd. As an Aspiring Probation Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting students with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) challenges and traumas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one support to small groups of children between the ages of 11-16 with SEMH needs, particularly autism and moderate learning difficulties.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and specialist staff to develop tailored plans that cater to the unique needs of each student.
  • Establish robust relationships built on trust, empathy, and effective communication to increase engagement, attainment, and life chances for the children.
  • Contribute to a holistic and therapeutic practice that aims to prevent children from entering the criminal justice system.

Salary and Benefits:
