Academic Support Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Support Worker - Education to join our team at LONG-TERM TEACHERS LIMITED.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supporting individuals with complex needs, and will be able to work collaboratively with teachers and other staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for our students.

As a Support Worker - Education, you will be responsible for providing companionship and support to our students, while also assisting with their learning and development.

Key responsibilities will include:

Safeguarding and Wellbeing: ensuring the physical, mental and emotional wellbeing of our students, and taking steps to prevent and manage challenging behaviors.

Learning Support: assisting students with their learning, including preparing materials and participating in activities.

Communication: liaising with parents, teachers and other staff to ensure effective communication and support for our students.

Training and Development: receiving training and guidance to develop your skills and knowledge, and participating in ongoing professional development to ensure you remain up-to-date with the latest best practices.

Pay: £19,233.75 per annum

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Contract: Permanent, Term Time only
