About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Area Manager to oversee the delivery of high-quality support services within a designated area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure that support services meet or exceed regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of support services.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Foster a culture of engagement and participation.
  • Support individuals in achieving their personal goals and aspirations.
  • Promote self-determination and independence.
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of support staff.
  • Provide regular supervision and support to staff members.
  • Ensure that staff are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.
  • Promote a culture of safeguarding and positive risk-taking.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with external stakeholders.
  • Represent the organisation effectively in external meetings and forums.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience working with people with learning disabilities or with people with other support needs.
  • Ability to achieve results through managing colleague's performance.
  • NVQ or QCF Level 5 in Health and Social Care.
  • Full UK Driver's Licence.
  • Ability to provide direction for colleagues and managers.
