Care Home Kitchen Assistant Job Summary

This exciting opportunity at Barchester Healthcare seeks a motivated and experienced Food Service Team Member to join our care home team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving nutritious meals to our residents while maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook meals according to menu plans and dietary requirements.
  • Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment, adhering to strict health and safety regulations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to residents, responding to their dietary needs and preferences.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a commercial or care setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a calm demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
