Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

Rikama Education Ltd is working with an SEN school in the Edenbridge area to find a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work with pupils on a 1to1 and small group basis, supporting students with ASD, SLD, and/or Behavioural Needs and mental health conditions (ADHD).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting students with ASD, SLD, and/or Behavioural Needs and mental health conditions (ADHD)
  • Working with pupils on a 1to1 and small group basis
  • Providing individualized support to students with complex needs
  • Collaborating with the teaching team to develop and implement individualized education plans
Requirements:

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Experience working with students with ASD, SLD, and/or Behavioural Needs and mental health conditions (ADHD)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
