Assembly Technician

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to contribute to the machining, manufacturing, and assembly of enclosures and equipment on our factory floor. This dynamic and hands-on role offers a range of tasks, from machining and fitting to assembly and fault-finding, requiring attention to detail and precision.
Key Responsibilities- Preparation of base materials, machining, and lock assembly.
- Assembling frameworks and fitting them to machinery lines.
- Dis-assembly of tested lines and preparation of items for transport and assembly at customers' sites.
- A small amount of pneumatic assembly.
- Assembly, commissioning, support, and service work at customers' sites.
- Good basic engineering skills.
- Ability to interpret equipment assembly drawings and maintain a high-quality finish.
- Proven teamwork, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
- Practical engineering experience, particularly in mechanical assembly and machining.
- Ability to operate within the health and safety guidelines.
- Recognised engineering certification or apprenticeship.
- Familiarity with pneumatic systems.
- Experience in a similar assembly or mechanical role.
- Willingness to travel for installation support to our worldwide customer base.
