Job Summary:
Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking an experienced NHS Specialist Nurse to join our Community Services team. As an Advanced Practitioner in Parkinson's Disease, you will provide high-quality care to patients with Parkinson's disease in the community setting.
Main Responsibilities:
- Foster a multi-disciplinary team approach in all aspects of clinical and non-clinical performance.
- Provide comprehensive, holistic, and timely assessments and treatments for patients and their families referred to the service.
- Prescribe and administer appropriate medication within local and national guidelines.
Requirements:
- NMC level 1 Registration.
- Degree (BSc) or equivalent in a health-related subject, or extensive clinical experience relevant to the area.
- Management / leadership skills.
- Evidence of continuing professional development.
- Non-medical prescribing qualification.
Desirable:
- Relevant post-registration qualification.
- MSc or equivalent in a health-related subject.
Key Attributes:
- Evidence of applying evidence-based practice to clinical practice.
- Patient-centred approach.
- Flexible attitude.
