Job Title: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at a global consumer manufacturing company in the Wakefield area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical and mechanical maintenance, with a bias towards electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment using the necessary tools and techniques.
  • Conduct regular inspections and assessments of equipment to identify potential issues and recommend improvements.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes.
Requirements:
  • Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical engineering or maintenance, or equivalent.
  • HND or HNC diploma in Electrical or Mechanical engineering, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on electrical and mechanical maintenance.
