Our Team

We have a multi-award winning Ecology team, recently winning the CIEEM Large Consultancy of the Year and Large Scale Mitigation project. Our team of over 95 permanent ecologists across 13 offices work as one cohesive unit, minimizing time away from home. We focus on talents and skills, not postcode, allowing our ecologists to work on projects that interest them and deliver them to the highest standards.

The Role

We are seeking a talented Principal/Associate Ecologist to join our team. The successful candidate will have a sound understanding of the technical aspects of ecological consultancy and be commercially astute. They will work closely with our Environmental Managers and Bid Support Team to support business development activities across the UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the ecology management team with business development activities
  • Lead on, support with, and coordinate the technical elements of bids, tenders, and framework opportunities
  • Contribute to business development activities across ecology, including the coordination of national initiatives
  • Support specific objectives relating to areas identified for growth

Requirements

The successful candidate will be a confident and competent ecologist with a passion to achieve the best environmental outcomes on projects. They will have a willingness to understand how other parts of the business work and be able to draw on their professional network to add value to bids, business development, and projects.
