Lifestyle Activities Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Lifestyle Activities Coordinator at Fitzwilliam House Care Home in Cambridge. As a key member of our compassionate and welcoming team, you will be responsible for creating and organizing meaningful and engaging activities and a lifestyle program to enrich the lives of our residents.

About the role:

• Develop and implement a lifestyle program that promotes physical, emotional, and social well-being for our residents.
• Collaborate with the care team to understand the needs and preferences of our residents and design activities that cater to their interests.
• Plan and organize days out and activities within the home, including partnerships with local community organizations, schools, and churches.
• Empower our residents to make choices and create an enjoyable and social environment that promotes their individual outcomes.

What we are looking for:

• Experience in a similar role or a caring environment.
• Excellent organizational and planning skills.
• Confident and enthusiastic with a fun and can-do attitude.
• A genuine desire to improve the lives of older people.
• Excellent communication and written skills.
