Uniform Education seeks an experienced SEN Learning Support Assistant
The role of a SEN Learning Support Assistant at Uniform Education involves providing one-to-one and small group support to students aged 5-19 years old who have a range of SEND needs.
We are looking for a highly motivated and adaptable individual who can work within a SEN or PRU environment, promoting positive engagement and implementing strategies to manage challenging behaviours.
This is a full-time, term-time only position, Monday to Friday, from 08:15 to 16:00, with a competitive daily rate of £100 per day.
Main Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to develop and implement individualized behaviour plans.
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to students, redirecting negative behaviours and promoting positive engagement.
- Work with students who have a range of SEND needs, including those with adverse behaviours.
About the Role:
- Must have a valid DBS check on the UDS.
- Relevant qualifications are a plus but not essential.
- Experience working with SEND students is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills are required.
