Lead Dermatology Nurse Position at 18 Week Support

As a leading provider of insourcing services to the NHS, 18 Week Support helps manage clinical demand, improve capacity, and reduce waiting lists for outpatient care and day case surgeries across specialties like Dermatology.

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Dermatology Nurse to join our team as a Lead Nurse, playing a pivotal role in delivering exceptional dermatology services within NHS departments during off-peak hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strong leadership to nursing staff, ensuring high standards of patient care and staff accountability.
  • Collaborate on maintaining and enhancing clinical governance in dermatology.
  • Supervise and support site nurses, ensuring compassionate and safe care delivery.
  • Foster growth and development by enhancing the skills and competencies of the nursing team.
  • Implement, monitor, and improve care standards in collaboration with the Nursing Director and Service Delivery Managers.
  • Establish and manage quality metrics, oversee weekly reporting, and ensure continuous improvement of clinical outcomes.
  • Serve as a key point of support for patients, staff, and carers.
  • Participate regularly in clinical practice, ensuring hands-on leadership in dermatology care.
