Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for assisting in the management of tender estimates, including checking and monitoring the preparation of Bills of Quantities, establishing net unit rates and cost estimates, and preparing enquiries for material, labor, and plant quotations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the management of tender estimates, including checking and monitoring the preparation of Bills of Quantities.
  • Establish net unit rates and cost estimates.
  • Prepare enquiries for material, labor, and plant quotations.
  • Conduct site visits, site valuations, and reports.
  • Liaise with external consultants.
  • Coordinate inter-departmental activities.
  • Review measurement of quantities and calculation.
  • Prepare total cost summaries and reports.
  • Supervise the compilation of tender documents.
  • Submit tenders.
  • Review tenders.
Requirements
  • Degree/Diploma/Certificate in Quantity Surveying/Building Technology.
  • Minimum 3 years' post-qualification experience in consultant firms or developers or main contractors.
  • Experience working on residential or commercial projects.
  • Eligible to work in the UK.
  • Good working knowledge of Pre and Post Contract Works.
