Recreation Assistant Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Recreation Assistant to join our team at One Hyde Park, a luxurious address in London. As a Recreation Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring the Recreation facilities are well-maintained and ready for use, adhering to high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all Recreation facilities are clean and well-maintained, adhering to high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
  • Carry out routine cleaning and housekeeping tasks in line with operating procedures.
  • Replenish stock and amenities in all areas of the Recreation facilities.
  • Set up and dismantle meeting and event spaces, including the cinema and virtual room.
  • Supervise the pool area, with basic lifeguard responsibilities (training provided, confidence in water required).
  • Open or close the Recreation facility as needed.
  • Take reservations and answer the telephone in the absence of the supervisor/receptionist.

Requirements:

  • Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • 5* service experience.
  • Previous customer experience and ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • A proactive approach to work.
  • Flexibility to work any day of the week, including bank holidays.
