About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Executive Breakfast Chef to join our team at The Midland Hotel. As a key member of our culinary department, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality breakfast experiences to our guests.

Responsibilities
  • Chef de Partie for Breakfast: Work closely with the Head Chef to plan and execute daily breakfast menus, ensuring consistency and quality throughout.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor junior chefs, providing guidance on menu preparation, presentation, and kitchen operations.
  • Menu Development: Collaborate with the Head Chef to design and implement new breakfast menus, incorporating seasonal ingredients and innovative ideas.
  • Kitchen Operations: Ensure efficient kitchen management, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, organization, and food safety.
Requirements
  • Culinary Experience: Proven track record in a similar chef role, with experience in menu planning, team leadership, and kitchen management.
  • Certifications and Qualifications: Hold relevant culinary certifications and qualifications, such as HACCP or food safety training.
  • Adaptability and Flexibility: Demonstrate ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing demands and priorities.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with colleagues, suppliers, and guests.
