Job Overview


We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive individual to join our executive support team as a High-Level Support Officer for Strategic Leadership.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diary Management: Manage the diaries of senior executives, ensuring seamless coordination and effective communication.
  • Travel Arrangements: Arrange travel itineraries, making considered judgments to ensure efficient use of time and resources.
  • Meetings and Briefings: Ensure that all meetings are well-prepared, with relevant briefings and support provided.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, demonstrating tact, diplomacy, and discretion.
  • Information Management: Monitor and handle correspondence, using judgment to direct queries to the right teams or individuals.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance, including preparing correspondence and expense claims.
  • Note-Taking and Reporting: Take accurate notes during meetings, draft decisions and actions, and follow up on agreed tasks.
  • Flexible Working: Be flexible in supporting colleagues and contributing to the overall functioning of the team.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving processes and activities.


Person Specification:

  • Microsoft Outlook Skills: Proven experience in using Microsoft Outlook to manage calendars, emails, and tasks.
  • Organisational Skills: Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
  • Prioritisation and Time Management: Ability to juggle multiple demands, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Tact, Diplomacy, and Discretion: Demonstrates high levels of tact, diplomacy, integrity, resilience, patience, and discretion.
  • Problem-Solving: Able to take a positive approach to identifying and resolving problems.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail, with a focus on quality.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal, presentational, and written communication skills.
  • Competing Priorities: Ability to work with competing priorities and tight deadlines.
