About the Role:
As an Audiologist with Alberta Health Services, you will play a vital role in our Allied Health department, working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care. Your expertise will be essential in screening, assessing, and managing patients with hearing and balance disorders, ensuring they receive the best possible treatment and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Screen and assess patients presenting with hearing and balance disorders
- Develop and implement effective intervention plans to manage and reduce the functional impact of hearing loss
- Provide clinical guidance and supervision to students and other staff members
- Contribute to program development and planning, using your clinical expertise to inform decision-making
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other professionals, providing information and recommendations as needed
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Audiology
- Active or eligible registration with the Alberta College of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists (ACSLPA)
