About the Role

Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled Mental Health Clinician to join our Psychiatric Liaison Service team in Buckinghamshire. As a Psychiatric Liaison Service Clinician, you will play a vital role in providing mental health provision in Stoke Mandeville and Wycombe General Hospital.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide mental health assessments and interventions for patients in crisis, including those with severe and enduring mental health issues.

• Conduct psychosocial assessments and provide evidence-based treatments for patients who have self-harmed.

• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective care for patients.

• Contribute to reducing unnecessary inpatient admissions and supporting appropriate care packages for patients.

Person Specification

• Current registration with a relevant professional body.

• Experience in crisis assessments and working with complex patients.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
