Templewood Recruitment is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Care Services Coordinator to join our team. As a Care Services Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth delivery of care services to our service users. You will work closely with the Service Manager/Area Manager to ensure quality care and compliance with company policies and procedures.
Your Key Responsibilities:
• Managing Care Workers and ensuring the delivery of quality service and service user satisfaction.
• Ensuring the delivery of services as agreed in the service user support plans.
• Ensuring effective management of the team and resolving any issues promptly.
• Ensuring that staff adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
• Monitoring the effectiveness of the care workers by conducting various spot checks, supervisions, and group meetings.
• Ensuring good relationships between staff and service users by acting as the liaison between care staff, office staff, and service users.
• Completing medication audits, ordering medication, and recording any changes to service user medication.
• Ensuring that staff rotas are updated and available, and when necessary, ensuring that changes are made.
• Attending and participating in service users' care and support needs.
• Ensuring that medication and observations forms are collected and submitted to the office timeously.
• Ensuring that the Service Manager/Area Manager are notified immediately of any incidents and where necessary, raise any safeguarding incidents.
• Conducting assessments of packages for new service users, quality assessments, and re-assessments.
• Conducting quality assurance checks through personal visits to service users, attending assessments, and reviews.
• Representing the company in meetings with local authorities and commissions.
• Collecting and collating data from the care workers to submit quarterly KPI information.
Requirements:
• QCF Level 2+
• Excellent time management and ability to prioritise
• Customer care focused
• Promotion of equal opportunities for service users & staff
• Valid driver's licence and use of own car
