About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team at the University of Leicester as a Legal Advice Clinic Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient day-to-day administration of the Pro Bono Legal Advice Clinic, ensuring the smooth running of the clinic and effective communication between the clinic's staff, students, and clients.

Key responsibilities include coordinating client appointments, managing records, and maintaining the clinic's facilities. You will also promote the clinic's services to the wider community and contribute to the delivery of a professional experience and high-quality legal education for students, offering them hands-on experience.

About You

The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in an administrative role, particularly within an environment where discretion and confidentiality are essential. You should have strong organizational skills and the ability to handle complex client enquiries, knowing when to pass queries on to solicitors. A professional and empathetic approach is key when dealing with clients, alongside the capability to work independently and as part of a team.

You will be proficient in using IT systems, including Microsoft Office and document management software. Prior experience in a legal environment is desirable but not essential. Your proactive approach and excellent communication skills will help maintain the high level of customer service that is expected within the clinic. Flexibility, attention to detail, and the ability to work to tight deadlines are essential in this role.
