About the Role
The Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced physiotherapist to join our Domiciliary Physiotherapy team as a Senior Physiotherapist - Community Specialist.
As a Senior Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality physiotherapy assessment, treatment, and advice to patients in the community setting. You will work independently, managing a caseload of complex patients and liaising with family and health and social care professionals as required.
You will be expected to plan, organize, and deliver physiotherapy care to patients, prioritizing your clinical caseload and using your time effectively. You will also be responsible for attending and participating in team in-service training and taking responsibility for your own Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
Main Duties
- Provide high-quality physiotherapy assessment, treatment, and advice to patients in the community setting.
- Manage a caseload of complex patients and liaise with family and health and social care professionals as required.
- Plan, organize, and deliver physiotherapy care to patients.
- Attend and participate in team in-service training.
- Take responsibility for your own CPD.
