Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Physical Healthcare Assistant to join our Advanced Clinical Practitioner team in the delivery of physical healthcare. As a key member of the team, you will provide vital support in acquiring ECGs, performing venepunctures, and administering immunisations. You will work collaboratively with senior clinicians to deliver high-quality physical healthcare while promoting best practices among staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting senior clinicians in the delivery of physical healthcare
  • Providing treatment and advice on wound care
  • Advocating for good health and wellbeing

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need excellent interpersonal skills, clear and concise written and verbal communication skills, a basic knowledge of IT, and the ability to work semi-autonomously within a team environment. Previous experience working with challenging patient groups is desirable, as you will be a role model to your team, demonstrating a flexible, individualised approach. Safety and therapeutic engagement are essential components of our care delivery focus.
