Job Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sustainability Insights Specialist to join our team and contribute to our mission of helping companies, governments, and investors navigate environmental markets.

In this role, you will be responsible for conducting research and analysis of carbon markets, developing reports and dashboards, and providing analytical support for carbon offset and trading projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth research and analysis of carbon markets, focusing on compliance markets, pricing trends, emissions data, and policy & regulatory developments.
  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to track carbon market performance, providing insights to stakeholders across various teams.
  • Provide analytical support for carbon offset and trading projects, including data modelling, scenario analysis, and forecasting.
  • Collaborate with the Trading Desk to monitor market conditions and provide data-driven insights that inform trading strategies.
  • Stay informed on policy and regulatory changes affecting carbon markets and assess their potential impact on the business and clients.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience in carbon markets, environmental markets, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience in data analysis, market research, and carbon pricing modelling.
  • A degree in relevant fields such as Environmental Sciences, Environmental Economics, Climate Policy, or similar disciplines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with experience in data analysis and visualisation tools.
  • Excellent analytical thinking and market awareness skills.
