Key Responsibilities
- Sort and process soiled linen, ensuring it is cleaned and delivered to the correct departments in a timely manner.
- Operate laundry machines, adhering to health and safety protocols and procedures.
- Transport clean and dirty linen between laundry cycles, maintaining a safe and efficient workflow.
- Fold and pack finished linen to meet the needs of our customers, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
- Report any equipment or machine faults to supervisors, ensuring minimal downtime and maintaining optimal laundry operations.
- Deliver clean linen to wards and departments as required, ensuring timely and efficient service.
- Record linen packed and ready for distribution, maintaining accurate records and ensuring seamless logistics.
- Comply with all health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.
- Maintain the cleanliness of your individual work area, adhering to high standards of hygiene and organization.
Learning and Development
- Attend mandatory training updates as required, ensuring you stay up-to-date with the latest procedures and protocols.
- Undertake training as necessary, in line with the development of the post and agreed with your line manager as part of your personal development process.
- Achieve and demonstrate agreed standards of personal and professional development within agreed timescales.
- Identify your own learning needs and jointly plan training requirements with your line manager.
