About the Role

We're seeking a skilled and passionate Chef to join our team at Lounge in Newbury. As a key member of our kitchen team, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional food quality and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook high-quality dishes to our menu specifications
  • Work collaboratively with our Head Chef to ensure seamless kitchen operations
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to food safety standards
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a positive dining experience

Requirements
  • Previous kitchen experience, preferably in a similar role
  • Driven and relentless, with a positive can-do attitude
  • Good communication skills and a team player
  • Self-motivated to work at pace, with limited supervision
  • Strong knowledge of best practice when it comes to allergens, kitchen essentials, and food safety
