Electrical Maintenance Engineer Opportunity

Wienerberger, a leading international provider of building materials and infrastructure solutions, is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at our Hartlebury site in Worcestershire.

About the Role

As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our plant and equipment. This is a varied and dynamic role that will give you the opportunity to use a range of electrical skills associated with being an electrician and service engineer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and maintain all electrical and electro-mechanical plant equipment or machinery
  • Operate a preventative electrical maintenance system
  • Program Siemens and other programmable logic controllers (PLCs)
  • Use various types of testing equipment to locate and remedy faults
  • Adhere to Wienerberger's quality system and standards in accordance with BSEN ISO 9001

Requirements

We are looking for an electrically biased engineer with experience of working in a manufacturing/factory environment, with a minimum level 3 qualification in an Electrical Engineering discipline. You should have experience and knowledge of PLCs, diagnostics experience of electrical motors and pneumatics, and have completed a hands-on apprentice training programme.

You should also be 17th/18th edition qualified, although training could be provided. We offer a competitive salary, a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern rotating between days and nights, and 5 additional days per year covering team holidays.
