Electrical Engineering Director

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Director to lead our electrical engineering team in South Wales. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and implementation of complex electrical systems across various projects.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of electrical engineering principles, hands-on experience, and excellent leadership skills. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative and reliable solutions that meet client expectations.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage electrical engineering projects from conception through completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines, specifications, drawings, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Work collaboratively with project directors, clients, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems within overall project designs.
  • Prepare and coordinate drawings covering all electrical installations, ensuring alignment to project specifications and standards.
  • Implement quality assurance processes and standards to ensure the reliability, efficiency, and safety of electrical systems.
  • Prepare detailed engineering documentation, including design specifications, technical reports, and project updates.

The salary for this role is approximately £90,000 per annum, depending on experience. We also offer a car or van allowance and accommodation assistance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree or qualifications in Electrical Engineering.
  • Significant years of experience as an Electrical Engineering Lead, preferably within Hyperscale Data Centre projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues.
