Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at LONG-TERM TEACHERS LIMITED.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a Year 2 pupil who requires 1:1 support in a Primary School setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Special Educational Needs and be able to adapt lessons to meet the pupil's individual needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with the Class Teacher to develop and implement personalized learning plans.
  • Provide 1:1 support to the pupil, using a range of strategies to promote engagement and understanding.
  • Communicate effectively with the Class Teacher, parents, and other professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to supporting the pupil.
  • Be flexible and adaptable in your approach, responding to the pupil's changing needs and circumstances.
  • Contribute to the creation of a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting the pupil's social, emotional, and academic development.
