Job Title: Water Hygiene Technician

Highgrove Recruitment Group Limited is seeking a skilled Water Hygiene Technician to join our team. As a Water Hygiene Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out water hygiene and treatment tasks for a variety of clients across London and the South.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out water sampling, TMV servicing, temperature monitoring, tank cleaning, domestic service disinfection, showerhead descaling, and closed system testing.
  • Conduct water hygiene and treatment services for a wide range of water systems and equipment.
  • Assist with the commissioning of water treatment equipment.
  • Supervise and provide training for junior engineers and graduates.
  • Identify opportunities for additional remedial work or potential new leads for the company.
  • Stay up to date with current water hygiene practices, legislation, and treatment products, and recommend training where necessary.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of water treatment equipment such as water softeners, chlorine dioxide units, UV systems, and chemical dosing plant is beneficial.
  • Basic understanding of HSG274 and ACOP L8 is preferred, though full training will be provided.
  • Plumbing or electrical qualifications or experience are highly desirable.
  • Competence in using computers, particularly Word and Outlook.
  • Excellent planning, organising, and communication skills.
  • A full valid UK driving licence is required.
