Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Pathway Manager to join our team at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a comprehensive administrative and clerical service is provided to the Diabetes & Endocrine, Rheumatology, MDTU & Anticoagulant departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of patient navigators and be responsible for the smooth running of the patient RTT journey from referral to discharge.
  • Support national RTT targets and internal Trust/divisional performance via the LUNA tool.
  • Supervise the day-to-day work of the divisional administrative teams in the Diabetes & Endocrine, Rheumatology, MDTU & Anticoagulant departments.
  • Ensure that patient navigators and other members of the administrative team adhere to Trust policies and standard operating procedures at all times.
Requirements
  • RSA 2 or RSA 3 word processing/typing or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • English and Math at GCSE level or equivalent.
  • Strong working knowledge and proficient in the use of Outlook package - PowerPoint, Excel, Microsoft Word as well as Access, email, Internet.
  • Previous experience of working with the public and/or patients in a healthcare environment.
