Job Title: Analyst / Senior Analyst (Permanent)

The Emerald Group is seeking a highly skilled Analyst / Senior Analyst to join our team in London. As a key member of our Exposure Management team, you will be responsible for supporting and managing our data entry team, ensuring the quality of data entry, and running modeling results in our internal catastrophe model (AIR).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and manage data entry team to ensure accurate and timely data entry
  • Use ExposureHub (Ebix) to manage data entry and quality checks
  • Run modeling results in AIR and provide insights to the team
  • Support modeling processes with third-party brokers and interpret their data
  • Hold a degree in a relevant subject, such as geography, maths, or economics, and have at least 4-8 years of experience in the insurance market
  • Have knowledge of Direct class and Binders, as well as an understanding of business processes and procedures, particularly in Exposure Management
  • Possess knowledge of AIR model, particularly Touchstone, and aggregation systems

Requirements:

  • 2:1 or above degree in a relevant subject
  • 4-8 years of experience in the insurance market
  • Knowledge of Direct class and Binders
