Job Summary:
Gold Group is seeking a highly skilled Safety Engineer to join our team. As a Safety Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering safety engineering analysis that will enable an existing product to be integrated onto a new system in a military platform setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver safety engineering analysis to support the integration of an existing product onto a new system in a military platform setting.
- Work closely with internal delivery teams, external prime contractors, and customers to define the safety boundary for the development of safety claims.
- Assist in the production of Safety Management Plans that meet DEF-STAN and other international standards.
- Develop and deliver safety analyses, including Hazard Analysis, Functional Failure Analysis, and safety architecture.
- Liaise with key stakeholders to ensure the timely delivery of safety-related material.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of safety engineering principles and practices.
- Experience with hazard analysis, risk management, and safety case development.
- Ability to work with internal and external stakeholders to define safety boundaries and develop safety claims.
- Knowledge of DEF-STAN and other international safety standards.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
