Bromford, a leading housing association, is seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Head of Commercial Finance and Business Partnering. This is a unique opportunity to join Robertson Bell, a trusted partner, in their search for a permanent Head of Finance Business Partnering.

The Role:
  • Collaborate with the business to drive strategy and innovation, leveraging financial expertise to solve complex problems.
  • Develop and deliver robust budgets, providing insightful analysis and forecasting to inform business decisions.
  • Lead the finance and procurement business partnering service, supporting existing homes investment teams in delivering repairs, maintenance, and capital investment projects.
  • Provide strategic financial leadership, guiding business area partners on financial issues, including operational plans, business cases, and financial modelling.
  • Drive the development of short- to medium-term investment plans, interpreting key drivers and risks to inform long-term business planning.
  • Empower and develop a high-performing team through coaching, mentoring, and quality leadership.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in reporting financial information and communicating complex concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Background in the property or housing sector, with a strong understanding of relevant legislation, taxation, and best practices.
  • Recent experience in budgeting, management accounting, and business planning, with a focus on delivering results-driven solutions.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to translate financial information into actionable insights.

This is a dynamic role that requires flexibility, with an expectation of 2-3 days per week in any of Bromford's offices, as well as travel to other locations as needed.
