ROLE – Senior Chemical Process Engineer

SALARY - £35,000- £45,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

TYPE – Permanent

LOCATION – Gloucestershire

Our client is a leading manufacturer of specialist equipment for process industries. They are seeking a Senior Chemical Process Engineer to join their team in Gloucestershire on a permanent basis.

The ideal candidate will have:

  1. At least 3 years' experience in a manufacturing environment
  2. Strong design skills with the ability to design new processes
  3. Degree qualification in a Chemical discipline
  4. Knowledge of pipes, hoses, valves, pumps and similar fluid equipment
  5. Strong project management skills
  6. Understanding of 2D and 3D CAD
  7. Excellent problem-solving skills
  8. Proven ability to take a leadership role and motivate others
  9. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  10. Ability to work well individually and as part of a team

Responsibilities include:

  1. Solving problems and improving engineering processes
  2. Designing, implementing and overseeing project plans
  3. Liaising with other departments to manage projects
  4. Ensuring quality and H&S standards are met
  5. Running trials and experiments in an R&D environment
  6. Designing equipment layouts
  7. Maintaining technical documentation
  8. Staying up-to-date with reports and developments in inorganic chemistry
  9. Promoting constant progression for product development and manufacturing techniques
