Job Title: Assistant Quantity Surveyor - Construction Interiors

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Build People. The successful candidate will have a strong background in construction and a passion for delivering high-end interior projects.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist the commercial team in implementing work-winning strategies at procurement stage
* Identify risks and opportunities, and engage with subcontractors to ensure successful project delivery
* Assist in the implementation of the Tender Event Schedule and prepare Tender Documentation
* Analyze tender returns and participate in the negotiation process to propose subcontractors
* Prepare Sub-Contract Orders and take responsibility for selected trade packages

Requirements:

* Degree-qualified or NVQ, BTEC, or Higher National equivalent in a relevant field
* 1-3 years of full-time experience in a surveying role with a leading main contractor
* Good knowledge and understanding of Word and Excel packages
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
