We are seeking an experienced Welder to contribute to the Hinkley Point C project, shaping a sustainable future.

The Role:

• Perform high-quality welding operations to a radiographic standard.
• Conduct regular equipment inspections to ensure optimal performance.
• Adhere to established welding protocols and safety regulations, including fume control measures.
• Identify and report potential welding problems for corrective action.
• Develop a keen eye for quality control, inspecting your own welds for consistency.
• Comply with established quality control procedures and documentation standards.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in welding with a solid foundation in TIG, MMA, and Orbital TIG techniques.
• Multi-disciplined welding approach with the ability to weld various materials, including stainless steel, carbon steel, and duplex steels.
• Successful track record in large-scale projects within a regulated sector.
• Experience working in environments with stringent quality control procedures and thorough inspections.
• Proficiency in welding and fabricating piping systems, understanding specific requirements.
• Level 3 Welding Apprenticeship (or equivalent).
• EN ISO 9606 certification (or equivalent).
• CSCS card.
• Right to work in the UK.
